Habakkuk 2:3-4 There is still a vision for the appointed time; it will testify to the destined hour and will not prove false. Though it delays, wait for it, for it will surely come before long. The reckless will lack an assured future, while the righteous will live by being faithful.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-2 About dates and times, my friends, there is no need to write to you, for you know perfectly well that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 While they are saying; all is peaceful, all secure, then destruction is upon them – sudden as a woman in childbirth.
1 Thessalonians 5:4-5 But you friends, are not in the dark, that Day will not come upon you as a thief. You are children of light, we do not belong to darkness and we must not sleep like the others, but keep alert and self controlled.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 We, who belong to the daylight are armed with the breastplate of faith and love and have the hope of salvation for our helmet.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 God has not destined us for retribution, but for the full attainment of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Matthew 24:32-34 Take a lesson from the fig tree, when it gives out tender shoots, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things [Matthew 24:4-27] then you will know that the end is near, at the very door. Truly, I tell you; the present generation will live to see it all.
Revelation 3:3 IF you do not wake up. I will come upon you like a thief and you won’t know the moment of My coming.
Revelation 16:15 See; I am coming like a thief. Happy is the person who stays awake and keeps their clothes [of righteousness] at hand, so that you do not go naked for all to see.
Daniel 12:8-10....these words are to be kept secret until the time of the end….The wicked will continue in their sins and none of them will understand, only the wise leaders will understand.
From all of these Bible passages, it says that if we are His servants, His friends, and when we see ‘the signs of the times’, then we can be aware of end time events.
But, we must “stay awake” and keep our garments of righteousness about us.
