Psalms 64:1-10 Lord: hear us as we cry out to You. Keep us safe from the evil plans of the godless peoples. They speak lies and venomous words against us. They plot evil schemes, hiding their true intent to destroy all that we hold dear, saying: Who will see us and who will foil our plans?
But God, with His arrows of judgement will shoot them down and sudden will be their demise. He will make them fall, using their own weapons against them. All who see this happen will flee in horror, everyone will be terrified. This is God’s work; they declare, as they understand at last how He has punished all those who conspire against Him. Then the righteous will exult and rejoice, the Lord will give them refuge and strength as they gather and praise Him.
This is God’s work – The Lord will instigate His judgement against His enemies, but it will be a seemingly natural event. Isaiah 28:21, Psalm 10:10-12, John 5:17, 1 Samuel 2:10, Isaiah 10:23
His arrows of judgement – A Coronal Mass Ejection of fire and electrical effects. Psalms 144:5-6, Psalm 18:13-14, Psalm 21:9, Habakkuk 3:9-11, Zechariah 9:14, Amos 1:4,7,10,12,14.
Using their own weapons against them – The nuke missiles and all explosive devices will explode on the launch pad or bunker, due to microwave penetration. Psalms 7:12-15, Obadiah 1:15, Habakkuk 3:14
Everyone will be terrified – During the 24 hour period after the initial flash of a CME and the arrival of the main mass, all people will know what is coming. Isaiah 22:3, Jeremiah 6:24, Jeremiah 30:6-7, Ezekiel 7:15-17, Nahum 2:10
Keep us safe – We must pray for protection, also take heed of the warnings and take cover for one day. Zechariah 9:15-16, Psalm 97:10-12, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Psalm 50:3-6, Psalm 9:10
The Lord will give them refuge and strength – The Lord’s people will be saved and strengthened and soon to be brought to the holy Land. Isaiah 65:9, Ezekiel 34:27, Psalms 29:11, Isaiah 24:4
Psalms 9:15-20 The nations are trapped in a pit of their own making, entangled in their own net. The Lord will display His power and all the peoples who refuse to acknowledge the Living God will depart to hell. The hopes and prayers of His people will be realized, as He fulfils His promises to them. For the Lord will arise and judge the nations, they will know they are but mortal.
