I shall fulfil all that I promised
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:27 God created human beings in His own likeness, male and female He made them.
Genesis 2:15 The Lord God gave them the Garden of Eden, for them to live in and look after. He said, “Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for then you will be doomed to die.”
Genesis 3:1-19 “Of course you will not die,” said the serpent. [Satan] “God knows that when you eat of that tree, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God Himself. So, they both ate some of the forbidden fruit and then God cursed both them and the serpent and banished them from the garden.”
Genesis 6:1-3 The human race increased and spread around the earth… The Lord said, “My spirit will not remain in a human forever, being mortal, they will live a maximum of 120 years.”
Genesis 6:12-21 God said to Noah, the only righteous man on earth, “I am going to destroy all the wicked people of the earth. Build a ship to save yourself, your family and two of every kind of living creatures.” Then a great flood covered the earth.
Genesis 8:20-22 When the flood receded, Noah built an altar and offered sacrifice to the Lord. The Lord said, “Never again shall I put the earth under a curse because of mankind. As long as the earth lasts, seedtime and harvest, summer and winter, day and night – they will never cease. The rainbow shall be a sign of this covenant.”
Genesis 9:1 “Be fruitful and increase – fill the earth. All creatures and plants are subject to you.”
Genesis 11:1-9 All the people spoke the same language and they started to build a great tower in order to maintain their cohesion. He Lord said, “These people will be able to do anything that they set their minds to”, so He instilled a separate language into each clan, and they dispersed over the earth.
Genesis 12:1 A righteous man called Abram was called out by God, to move into the Land, now called Israel. God promised great blessings to him.
Genesis 15:5 The Lord showed Abram the night sky, and said, “Your descendants will be as many as the stars in the sky.”
Genesis 15:18 “I give to your descendants this Land – from the Nile to the Euphrates river.”
Genesis 16:1-16 Abram and his wife Sarai were childless, so he lay with Hagar, Sarai’s servant, and she bore a son called Ishmael. The prophesy about Ishmael is: He will be like a wild ass, his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand will be against him, even his own kin.
Genesis 17:1-24 When Abram was 99, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the Lord Almighty, live in My presence and be blameless. This is My covenant with you; I shall make you the father of many nations. I shall be your God and the God of your descendants. As a sign of this covenant, all males must be circumcised in every generation. You will have another son, to be called Isaac; he will be your heir. Ishmael, too, I will bless and a great nation will come from him.” [The Arab peoples]
Genesis 18:17-18 The Lord said, “Your new name is Abraham and a great and powerful nation will come from you. All the other nations will wish to be blessed as they are.”
