Gleanings of the vine

Isaiah 5:7 The vineyard of the Lord is Israel, Judah is My garden.

Jeremiah 6:9-10 The Lord says: Glean like a vine the remnant of Israel, one last time, like the farmer passing his hand over the branches.

Jeremiah 5:10-11  Go along the rows of vines, make an end to them. Lop off what is not the Lord’s. Faithless are Israel and Judah, both faithless to Me.

Micah 7:1 Alas, I am like the last of the summer fruit, as the gleaning of the vineyard. There are no grapes or figs, that I love so much.

Jeremiah 12:10 Many shepherds have ravaged My vineyard, they have made My Land a desolate wilderness.

Jeremiah 5:26-31 For among My people, there are scoundrels, who lay snares and traps to prey on them.

2 Thessalonians 2:12 All who have not believed in the truth, but have made sinfulness their choice will be brought to judgement.

Isaiah 27:12 On the Day that the Lord strikes down His enemies, He will beat out the grain, but you Israelites, will be gathered one by one.   Matthew 24:40.

Jeremiah 3:14 Come back, apostate people..I am patient with you, I shall take you – one from each town and two from each clan and bring you to Zion.

Amos 5:17 There will be wailing in every vineyard, for I shall pass through your midst, says the Lord.

Isaiah 50:20 The Lord will come as a redeemer to Zion and to those in Jacob who repent of their rebellion.

Zephaniah 3:12-13 Only a remnant of lowly and humble people will survive. They will be righteous and nothing will make them afraid.

Isaiah 1:27 The Land of Israel will be redeemed with justice and her returning people by righteousness.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 God has not destined us for retribution, but for the full attainment of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Psalm 126:1-3 When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like people renewed in health. Our mouths were full of laughter and we sang aloud for joy.   Then, among the nations it was said: God has done great things for them.

Great things, indeed the Lord did for us and we rejoiced.        Ref: REB verses abridged.

These verses describe how God will judge His people, Israel, at the time of their regathering. Those judged righteous will go to live in all of the Promised Land.
