Psalms 108:7-8 God has spoken from His sanctuary: I will go up now and look over My Land. The ten tribes of Israel are My strength and the two tribes of Judah are My Lawgivers.

Psalms 108:11-13 Have You rejected us, Lord our God? And do You no longer lead our armies into battle? Grant us Your help against the foe, for in vain do we look to any mortal for deliverance. With God’s help we shall fight valiantly, for He Himself will tread down our enemies.
Psalms 109:21-25 You, Lord my God, deal with me as befits Your honour, in Your mercy, deliver me for I am poor and needy and my heart is distraught. I fade like a shadow, tossed about like a locust. I am weak and wasted for want of food, and am the object of my enemies taunts.
Psalms 109:26-31 Help me, my God, save me by Your loving mercy, so that all may know that You have done it. My enemies may curse, but You will bless me. Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonour, as Your servants rejoice. I will give thanks and praise to the Lord, who helps those who trust and call upon Him in their hour of need.
Isaiah 26:3-13 Lord, those who believe in You and obey Your commandments, are untroubled because of their trust in You. We trust in Your deliverance, as You bring down the high and mighty peoples. The Lord speaks from His sanctuary – before the return of Jesus. He sees the enemies of His people, the Edomites – the godless nations and the Philistines – the Palestinians preparing to attack them. The Lord Himself will ‘tread down the enemies, the proud and arrogant peoples’, His hand is raised to strike and ‘the fire reserved for them will burn and destroy them’.
